Aim and background statement Management-Resources aims to help managers become better managers. By better managers we mean people who are more effective in what they do, for example, able to meet targets, get more out of the people they work with, and improve ways of doing things. We also mean managers who are more confident, enjoy their work and look forward to new challenges. We think that management is an exciting career to be in, and that part of that excitement comes from the buzz of learning new techniques and being able to do something that you were nervous of doing. Management-Resources is run by experienced managers who want to be able to help other people get more out of their role as managers; to feel more in control of their work, to feel that they are learning and developing, rather than stagnating. The way we work Our philosophy is that managers benefit from active support and from constantly learning and trying new skills and ways of doing things. . We hope that you find them useful - if you have comments or suggestions on the resources please feel free to give us feedback. Client work We provide a number of paid-for services which are expanding all the time. Management-Resources provides training, coaching and consultancy for managers to help them become more effective at what they do and to enjoy their work and careers more, using the techniques you see here and many others.
